Supportive Lifestyle floors are often designed with handrails and seating in common areas. Memory and Enriched Care are designed with continuous walking paths, private accessible suites with additional design features to support residents with physical or visual limitations.
For residents in Memory Care and Enriched Care, secure neighourhoods provide restricted access through secure points of entry, enabling residents to freely enjoy their space with peace of mind.
Residents in Lifestyle Apartments and All-Inclusive Lifestyle have access to a washer and dryer, either in their suite or on their floor.
Our buildings are designed to meet accessibility standards, including extra-wide doorways that accommodate wheelchairs and walkers.

Supportive Lifestyle dining rooms are designed to provide an intimate dining experience allowing for more individualized attention from team members and a comfortable environment for enjoying meals near the resident's suite.
With the health and safety of residents in mind, every point of entry is secure and accessible either by keypad or access card.
Residents can book an appointment at the on-site salon for services such as a haircut, colouring, and aesthetics.
Residents are welcome to use the fitness centre at their leisure or by participating in many scheduled fitness classes each week.
Residents can enjoy live entertainment, wine and cheese socials, seminars, faith-based programming, scheduled outings and more.

Incontinence products are included for residents in Enriched Care and can be ordered by residents in other lifestyle options. Continence care is considered part of a resident's direct care in all Supportive Lifestyle (includes assisting the resident to the washroom).
Memory Care suites are located on a floor uniquely designed to support the physical and cognitive needs of individuals living with Alzheimer's Disease or other forms of dementia. Learn More about Memory Care.
Can included walking, mealtime assistance, dressing, grooming, application and removal of compression stockings, using the washroom and transferring.

For residents in need of emergency assistance, a member of our team is available 24 hours a day. The system includes a panel in each suite, as well as on the wall of common areas.
Compassionate professionally trained healthcare team members are always present and ready to offer support in the case of an emergency.

Residents are encouraged to welcome family members and friends to enjoy a restaurant-style meal in the dining room.
Two daily meals are included in the All-Inclusive Lifestyle (typically lunch and dinner). Residents in a Supportive Lifestyle have three meals per day plus snacks included. Learn more about dining at Parkland.
Includes one load of clothing and/or personal items to be washed, dried, folded and returned to the resident's suite.

Available to all residents, transportation services are based on availability and arranged by reservation.
Long distance and/or international calls can be arranged at an additional cost through the Parkland Plus additional services menu.
A basic telephone connection is included as part of every resident's service package, including local calls.

All communities are equipped with back-up generator to ensure residents have uninterrupted access to heat and lights during inclement weather.
Our wireless internet is ideal for watching Netflix or other streaming video content, video calling or downloading music. Service includes internal tech support and residents can cancel their service at any time.
Residents and their guests have access to free Wi-Fi in the common areas of all buildings.
Assisted Living and Memory Care suites come equipped with a mini fridge. Most Assisted Living suites also include a microwave.
Residents living in an Independent Lifestyle enjoy a suite with a sink, dishwasher, fridge with built-in freezer, and a stove (or cooktop).
All suites come with neutral, high-quality window treatments to ensure residents can move in with privacy from day one.
Housekeeping attendants provide towel and linen service which includes collecting, washing, drying, folding, and returning to the resident's suite.
The concierge is located either at the entrance of our All-Inclusive Lifestyle buildings or at the main entrance of a single-building community. The concierge offers support with booking appointments, making maintenance requests, taking reservations for transportation services, accepting deliveries and responding to requests.
For residents in Memory and Enriched Care, Parkland supplies a hospital bed with mattresses, linens, a nightstand and storage for clothing (either a cabinet/armoire or closet).
